Workshop

On Friday, April 7 through Sunday, April 9 , 2017 Jim Heffernan and I will conduct dobro workshops at:

Stacy Phillips here.  I've got a last minute gig offer at Old Dominion University on Wednesday, September 11.  I could use one workshop on the way there or back to make it financially worthwhile.

Any dobro players living in Baltimore, Wash. D.C., Richmond, Norfolk, VA areas who might want a few hour workshop?  It could be on the 10th or 12th or even on the 11th if it's not too far from Norfolk.  The gig is over at 6PM.

It's a real long shot but, maybe . . .

It's rare (here) to get a chance like this: Rob Ickes and Jim Hurst hold parallel workshops and then bring their two classes together at the end of the session for a "mini-concert."

I wonder if any other New York-area resophonicians are planning to attend this event (click and scroll down) hosted by the Hudson Valley Bluegrass Ass'n.

Blue Highway is on the bill for the Back 40 Bluegrass Festival in Curryville, MO on Saturday, May 26.  Rob Ickes is willing to do a 3 hour clinic for anyone who might be interested.    Time for the workshop is not yet determined because Rob was not quite sure of his schedule.  I am sorry for the short notice but if you would interested in being part of this let me know so we can work out details.
