Wonderful playing and sounding Dobro. This is the dobro that Gene Wooten owned and played with Wilma Lee and Stoney Cooper. Set up by Gene Wooten is still in great shape. Guitar has tons of tone and a Kool appearance and character with the expected wear and scratch marks of a well loved and played guitar from this era. It has a newer Quarterman cone and Maple bridge inserts. Original cover plate and what appears to be original tuners with white plastic knobs in fine shape. This guitar is owned by Frank Harlow whom purchased it from Gene Wooten. I played this guitar for about an hour and can tell you the guitar has volume and tone! It's a pleasure to play. This what I now use on my Dobro in the studio and live. When I record with it the Dobro seems to just sit in the track better than any other mic I have used.Other mics are more than fine but this one seems not to need to be fooled with to make it sound great on the Dobro.
